What First Impression is Your Home Making?

When you are selling your home it is important to make sure that buyers are attracted to it from the moment they first see it. The goal is to have your home’s best features stand out and not be overshadowed by how the yard looks or things in need of repair.

Do a self-check.  Maybe you always enter your home through the back door or the garage, go out and take a look of your home from the front how a buyer would see it. Are their items that need repair? How does the front door/porch look? Think about what would appeal to you if you were looking at your home for the first time.

Keep The Yard Clean. Your yard will be the first thing a buyer will see when coming to see your place so making sure things like the yard is mowed and there is no trash in the yard are ways to make your home look its best.

These things are important because the type of first impression your home makes will determine if a buyer will even decide to stop and look or keep on going.
